Becoming familiar with oil
Since I’ve recently got my video editing software up and running on Windows 7, my recent videos have been a test to see how quickly I can produce a time lapse video from start to finish.
Yesterday’s footage was filmed, edited and posted within 3 hours.
Today’s video has taken approximately 7 hours. Twice as much time due to spending more time on the piece, hence being a longer video with more effects.
I’m far from finished with this one, after waiting for this layer to dry, I’ll go over it with paint and refined linseed oil.

After a long day of cleaning, sorting and filing, one of the forgotten treasures I’ve found has helped me make tonight’s drawing. A Dixon Ticonderoga pencil.

Six short hours ago I dug into a new canvas and here is the result.

The original 100th drawing
I have a sad story to tell. My original 100th drawing is now sitting in the trash. I took it to far and ruined it completely. But, I took a picture just before the tragedy occurred. My mistake was using soft charcoal on top of color pencil. It immediately dug in and made shading impossible.

The original 100th drawing.
I will try this composition again someday.

Nursery rhymes from Alternate Universes

Row, row, row your goat.
Gently down the stream.
Merrily, merrily,merrily, merrily,
Life is but a dream.
