The story behind my two works titled; OPPENHEIMER spans over a period of 14 years. In 1992 I was in my Senior year at Scarlet Oaks Vocational high school. As one of our final projects my art teacher instructed us to create a monochromatic portrait drawing. I immediately knew who I was going to draw;

And out of nowhere…

The past week has been one of rest. Lying around reading, watching nature documentaries, listening to interviews with Krista Tippett. Recharging. Reset or Restart?

SOVEREIGNTY – Time lapse video

Here is the footage I shot while painting SOVEREIGNTY. Approximately 40 minutes compressed into 1/2 minutes. I’m designing a track around a curved suface to allow the camera to travel along at a slow, constant rate. This will provide some very interesting footage I would like to get my hands on!
