My work is now featured in the book; “A Published Gallery”. Many thanks to Sonja-Jade Lilly and Chad Lilly.

77 other artists grace the pages of this book, all of them are quite wonderful!
“A Published Gallery” is now available here.
Sonja-Jade Lilly was kind enough to write a summary of what she thinks about my work;
Jason Barre’s work is nothing short of visually striking. I have had the privilege to cross the path of his talent and work, offering him a place in the worldwide publication of ‘A Published Gallery’ without a glimpse of hesitation, publishing five of his pieces. Jason is an artist that if not recognized now, will certainly be in the future.
He creates visually seductive atmospheres which subtlety becomes striking, color and imagery suggestively dance together forming pieces that capture attention in a glance – beckoning one to look closer – embracing and powerful. Jason captures the fragility and exposes the idiom and the sometimes less than subtle human expression. Each of his pieces we can find aspect of ourselves, each viewer experiencing something different – thus his universal appeal, but more so, this highlights his highly intuitive gift of expression and resonance to the human experience of which we call ‘emotion’. All of his work honors what lives inside us all – the dismantling of emotion – so we may reflect on who we are and why. Whether one gravitates to a striking color he has used to embody a piece, or a glimmer in an eye of an expression, or clarity of thought posed in painted language, or for the artistic gift he beholds leaving one in awe … Jason’s work will draw you in.
Not only have I had the honor of publishing his work, I was so drawn by his artistic insight and talent that I am now also the owner of a Jason Barre original, and without doubt will be purchasing more to adorn the walls of my home and office.
In the competitive world of art and artists there are those whose work stands out amongst the many, Jason is one of them. Artists such as Jason Barre demonstrate there are modern-day masters … extraordinary and exceptional creativity, and talent that deserve our attention to be recognized on a global scale.
