Now more than half way through the year I sit and look back at the last 8 month’s work. I’ve been working hard. My pace has gotten faster and I’ve improved on my ability to work on more than one piece at a time.
Looking over them now I feel like working on a different scale. I absolutely love working on a large scale on a regular basis and that is why I need to try something different before I get too comfortable. So when I drove up to the art supply store I purchased 9 tiny little canvases and 1 big one. The desire was to paint some of my favorite portraits and abstracts on a smaller scale all at the same time along with working on a new one on a large scale.
The 6th painting is on a 24 x 36″ canvas and I’m going to wait a little bit before I reveal it. Stay tuned.
