The artist Jack Olson introduced me to a idea from artists Regina Agu and Gilbert Ruiz, jr. which immediately rung my bell. A drawing a day, 365 days a year. Since I haven’t drawn or painted anything in the past 5 days I immediately grabbed the closest items next to me and started drawing. As you can see I’m feeling rather abstract today. Tomorrow I will sit down with my sketch pad and sharpened pencil.

Oooh, I like. It’s like alien graffiti (or a bird coming out of an egg – that may be the slight sleep deprivation talking, though.
) I love how bright and colorful it is. I’ve always been amazed at the awesome art that can be done on post-its. 
I might have to try this #draw365 thing myself. I might help me loosen up a little bit with drawing…
